Four Wheel Camper Storage Ideas: Hang Duffels as Cabinets

Duffels hanging as cabinets in a Four Wheel Camper (FWC).
Steve needed more storage in his Four Wheel Camper, and a way to get to his clothes without digging under the dinette, which is usually a bed for his two kids. He hung LoftLockers to turn Patagonia duffels into cabinets.
... should be a nice alternative to having to retrieve clothing from under the dinette which is usually in bed mode for the two kiddos.

Steve's setup
Steve's dinette is usually in bed mode for his two kids, which makes clothes stored under it hard to reach. He wanted them up in the “dead space” between the canvas windows above the dinette.
For his ceiling storage, Steve hung his Patagonia duffels with two LoftLockers, one on each side. He wanted L-track behind them so he could use more screws to hold the L-track and the LoftLockers up.
How Steve did it
Steve shared photos of his truck camper storage mod as he went. Here is what they show.
01 The L-track
Steve mounted the L-track on a single framing member, behind the wooden strip on the ceiling.

02 The holes
He used blue tape to hold the L-track to the ceiling and mark his holes.

03 The LoftLocker
Each LoftLocker bolts to the L-track with L-track lugs.

04 The result
Steve's gear is up and within reach, with no digging under the dinette. One duffel on each side of the camper.

05 The roof down
With the FWC roof down, the LoftLockers don't interfere with the sides when they're folded up.

LoftLockers hang duffels as cabinets in trucks, vans & campers.
